4:00 – 4:50 Yogafirst Hatha Flow: Awakening The Internal Organs for Iftar with Peewee Sanchez

Yogafirst Hatha Flow Yoga is a beautiful blend of classical hatha, playful vinyasa and tantric influences. In this session a specially designed sequence of dynamic asana and pranayama awakens our digestive system to be ready for Iftar and rehabilitates the body and mind from the fasting day.

5:00 – 5:50 Yin & Restorative Yoga with Jo Arganaz

In order to become fully embodied in our yoga practice, accessing both yang (masculine) and yin (feminine) energy in our practices enables us to truly alchemise all layers of the self. Jo leads us through a yin and restorative sequence, deep diving into the deepest physical layer of fascia (ligamants and beyond) and then daring to rest. This session is the perfect compliment the holy season of Ramadan which invites us to travel through the deepest layers of the self and to cleanse body and soul. All poses will be practiced at floor level and is the perfect solution to the heat of the season.

6:00 – 6:50 Himalayan Kriya Yoga (Energy Clearing and Dynamic Meditation) with Peewee and Sylvia Christensen.

Sampoorna means ‘complete’ and Shakti is the creative intelligence that resides at the base of every human being’s spine. Sadhana is a combined expression of burning desire to improve one’s situation and the courage to do what it takes to rise in awareness (tapas), the honesty to face one’s inner dimensions (swadhiyaya) and surrender to the seed of the divine within and without (Ishvara Pranidhana). This Himalayan Kriya Yoga practice is the quickest way to purify, clarify and experience unity consciousness and realize the 10 aspects of our Shakti energy and the gateways to liberation (Mahavidyas or the 10 Wisdom Goddesses) that are attainable, palpable and not just intellectual concepts or philosophy.

All our events are acts of Karma yoga, the practise of giving or service to others. We suggest a minimum donation of AED 50. 100% of donations go to Al Jalila Foundation and their Ta’alouf programme to support parents of children with special needs. Learn more here.
